Get ready to head to the movies for the new horror film, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, where it follows an older brother, Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson), and his little sister, Abby Schmidt (Piper Rubio), where they explore their past and Freddy Fazbear’s, an abandoned kids birthday place. The Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 (FANF) movie is coming to theaters December 5 as a sequel to the first movie Five Nights at Freddy’s.
Five Nights at Freddy’s was the highest gross income, from any horror movie, from the box office in 2023 making 80 Million dollars in its opening weekend.”I did watch the first movie and thought it was good” sophomore Philip Schmitt said “I am planning on watching the second movie the week that it comes out”.
The Five Nights at Freddy’s also has books and games. The franchise follows a family called the afton family. The father of the family, William Afton(Matthew Lillard), is the creator of freddy fazebear which is similar to chucky cheese. Throughout the series William has made animatronics for the purpose of entertaining, but one of the animatronics killed his son. He has killed 5 kids and stuffed them in unused animatronics, but the souls of the children became infused with the animatronics becoming able to control the suits.
The FNAF 2 movie has a collaboration with Popeye’s where you can order Five Nights at Freddy’s themed meals. This collaboration has 4 main items: the Freddy Fazbear Deluxe Box, Freddy Fazbear Box, Cheesy Bites with Marinara Sauce, and Cupcake Cup.
The Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise is continuing its expansion with lore corrections and story development. They might even make more money this time for their opening weekend box office revenue than from The Five Nights at Freddy’s.
