Girls Golf: North Creek High School’s girl’s golf team is all about course management, strategy, and focus. After a 4 – 4 season last year, the golf team has high hopes and expectations for this season. “This season I’m really looking forward to getting to play in matches, and challenging myself to do better each time I get on the course. I’m also beyond excited to work with my amazing coaches and my team to win as many matches as possible,” senior Bella Vest said.
Girls’ Fast Pitch Softball: North Creek High School’s girls’ fast pitch softball team is not one to be messed with. From powerful swings at the plate to lightning-fast plays in the field, the athletes showcase their skill with each pitch, catch, and slide. With a staggering 17 – 10 lseason last year, the team already looks strong, being led by coach Chris Pinder.
Girls’ Tennis: North Creek High School’s girls’ tennis team is all about anticipation, endurance, and agility. Ready to strike back with a shot not even the most agile people could get. Ending last year strong with a great 7 – 6 season.
Boys’ Soccer: North Creek High School’s boys’ soccer team is all about teamwork, from precision passes to powerful shots on goal and battling for possession of the ball. It all relies on teamwork, sprinting down the field, or making last second game-winning plays. Led by coach Aaron Libed, he has high hopes for this season. “The goal we have as a team this year is to make the state tournament. The squad we have is one of the most talented squads North Creek has had in the past years and I am confident that this team can achieve our goal of making the state tournament,” Senoir Captain Eugene Chung said.
Boys’ Baseball: Led by coach Marc Linn, North Creek High School’s boys’ baseball team is built on speed, power, and teamwork. The current baseball teams are looking to be very strong, C-Team through Varsity alike. All the teams had a staggering amount of wins last season, with few losses, and it looks like they’re going to carry that momentum through this season as well. “The North Creek boys baseball teams have always been great. I’m glad to play with all these great people, and I hope to make an impact on the field this season,” freshman Cooper Martinez said.
Boys & Girls Track & Field: Led by coach Nicole Luckenbach, is all about endurance, stamina, and speed, as the sweat drips across your forehead, you feel like you can’t breathe, your legs feel soggy, the dry air pieces your throat while cramps pinch you on the abdomen, your legs barely able to jump over the hurdles, with the finish in sight, yet many more laps to go. This is track & field. Keyan Shah, a freshman at North Creek High School and track & field long-distance runner says, “I currently feel great about the track & field season so far; my times keep improving, and I am close to hitting my time goals for this season. I want to keep improving every season, and this is a great start,” freshman Keyan Shah said.
Boys’ Lacrosse: Led by coach Bob Mooney, Lacrosse is a sport that demands speed, agility, and teamwork, dodging the defenders, passing to your teammates, and moving at lightning speed, with nothing but the goal in sight and the lacrosse ball in your possession.
Boys & Girls Unified Soccer: Led by coach Ashley Dodson, Boys & Girls Unified Soccer is where students of all abilities are invited to build skills and create meaningful friendships through athletics.
