North Creek High School’s first home game versus Wenatchee’s Eastmont High School has been cancelled tonight due to snow in the mountains. The snow and weather conditions would have made it nearly impossible to get to North Creek and back, as their school is located three hours away from ours. Wenatchee has also cancelled the game on Saturday due to weather conditions in the mountains. The implications from these cancellations are two lost games that are unlikely to be get rescheduled as the distance from North Creek is significant and the weather in the mountains will most likely get worse, coupled with the fact that these are non-district games and these games do not affect North Creek’s playoff chances.
