Inglemoor High Phased Replacement Project – With a budget of $100 million, this project aims to replace the existing school buildings, reducing the number of portables and building additional permanent classrooms, as well as improving building conditions by using a new central plant and modernizing the HVAC system, building a new cafeteria for increased capacity, building a new gym and athletics support spaces, replacing restrooms and adding gender-inclusive restrooms, and reorganizing the building entry and administration area. Inglemoor High School has currently just started step five of the school design and construction process, with Phase 1 of construction starting in June.
Leota Middle Phased Replacement Project – With a budget of $60 million, this project aims to replace the existing school buildings, reducing the number of portables and building additional permanent classrooms, as well as improving building conditions by using a new central plant and modernizing the HVAC system, building a new cafeteria for increased capacity, building a new gym and athletics support spaces, replacing restrooms and adding gender-inclusive restrooms, reorganizing building entry and administration, adding counseling support areas, and improving site circulation and add parking. Leota Middle School just started step five of the school design and construction process, with construction starting in June.
Kenmore Elementary Modernization Project – With a budget of $30.75 million, this project aims to address district growth by reducing portables, improving building conditions using a new central plant, modernizing classrooms, installing a fully accessible and inclusive playground, replacing restrooms and adding gender-inclusive restrooms, improving bus circulation and interior circulation, and reorganizing building entry and administration areas. Having started step five, construction, in the summer of 2024, the project is estimated to be completed by winter of 2026.
Maywood Hills Elementary Modernization Project – With a budget of $37 million, this project aims to address district growth by reducing portables, improving building conditions by re-roofing existing buildings, installing a fully accessible and inclusive playground, improving perimeter delineation and security, improving the arrival and supervision of students, and improving site circulation. Having started step five, construction, in the summer of 2024, the project is estimated to be completed by the summer of 2025.
Crystal Springs Elementary Expansion Project – With a budget of $30.75 million, this project aims to address district growth by reducing portables, improving building conditions, installing a fully accessible and inclusive playground, replacing the gym and building a new commons area, making habitability updates to existing buildings, and improving circulation and parking. Having started step five, construction, in the summer of 2024, the project is estimated to be completed by September of 2025.
Fernwood Elementary Expansion Project – With a budget of $30.75 million, this project aims to address district growth by reducing portables, improving building conditions, adding flexible-use space/multi-purpose rooms, adding a new office area in front of the campus, installing a fully accessible and inclusive playground, improving circulation, and improve arrival and supervision of students in administration area. Having started step five, construction, in the summer of 2024, the project is estimated to be completed by September of 2025.
Woodin Elementary Expansion Project – With a budget of $30.75 million, this project aims to address district growth by reducing portables, improving building conditions, modernizing the HVAC system and student bathrooms, as well as installing a fully accessible and inclusive playground, repurposing the current gym as the new commons, while constructing a whole new gym, and improving circulation and parking. Having started step five, construction, in the summer of 2024, the project is estimated to be completed by September of 2025.
Sorenson Early Childhood Center Expansion Project – With a budget of $12 million, this project aims to address district growth by reducing portables, improving building conditions, installing a fully accessible and inclusive playground at both Sorenson and Westhill Elementary campuses, and improving site circulation and parking. Having started step five, construction, in the summer of 2024, the project is estimated to be completed by September of 2025.
