Christmas and its bits; Christmas carols, Christmas trees, Christmas Presents, Christmas-themed decor, themed food, and themed events. Christmas movies; are the biggest staple to every family that celebrates, cozying up with a good cup of hot chocolate, and an even better movie playing on the TV screen. With any luck, one could get their friends over to have a Christmas movie marathon. Everyone ends up asleep probably due to the late nights and the cozy blankets. For any Christmas movie marathon, these are staples.
The Grinch Who Stole Christmas
The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is an original. A grumpy guy who hates happiness, who wouldn’t want to watch such a glorious plot. His plans to ruin Christmas for all of Whoville was objectively unstoppable. Throughout the movie, one would see a lovable grumpy guy with a genius plan to never allow a drop of happiness into Whoville again. Taken from the famous Dr. Suess novel this box office hit should be very high on a list for any movie marathon.
The Christmas Chronicles
The Christmas Chronicles surrounds two lovable siblings find themselves on Santa’s sleigh after conjuring a plan to get real footage of Santa. Santa’s sleigh has a mishap and the two kids and Santa end up thousands of miles away from their home and a broken sleigh. This endearing movie gives a sense of relaxation to a room, the laughter in the room will never stop. The feeling of happiness never dies down with this movie and it should be on the national Christmas Movie list.
Spirited
For the musical lovers of the bunch, Spirited would be a good addition to any Christmas party. A movie on the past, present, and yet-to-come ghosts are and the search for a soul. A cute movie with an endearing ending. This will leave every guest hooked and laughing their heads off. Many will love the funny nature of Will Farrel and Ryan interacting and singing their hearts out. It earns its spot on the movie marathon list with its lovable nature.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
An animated option that has won the hearts of many is The Nightmare Before Christmas, although not always considered a Christmas movie but rather a Halloween movie with Christmas themes, but it’s Christmas either way. In this movie, a jack o’lantern head main character decides to take over Christmas and all of its shenanigans. The animations are amazing and the plot is a must-see. Huddle up with friends and add this movie to the marathon list for this next watch party. The way people come together for the joy of Christmas is irreplaceable. Through every step of the way the spirit of giving flies through the air throughout the Christmas season. The love and warmth from the fogged-up windows is irreplaceable. Cozying up to a good movie with a nice group of friends. Enjoy it all, there is no gift like the present.
